Admissions
At Farnley Tyas we admit 10 new children into Reception each year. Children are mostly from the Farnley Tyas area, but children also attend from the neighbouring villages of Almondbury, Brockholes, Lepton, Honley and Thurstonland. Applications for a school place can be made at any time, but for a September start should be made before January of the same year.

Visits to school by parents are encouraged and welcomed.
Applications for admission to Kirklees schools can be made online via the Kirklees website or a form can be collected from school. The completed paper form should be returned to the school which is your first preference accompanied by your child's birth certificate. A receipt will be issued by the school and the form will be forwarded to Kirklees Admissions Department at the appropriate time.
