• The quality of teaching is outstanding. The teachers assess thoroughly and they know their pupils extremely well. The skills of communication, language and literacy are exceptionally well taught.
• Pupils make excellent progress and by the end of Year 5 their achievement in reading, writing and maths is outstanding.

In the 2016 report the SIAMS Inspector said:
The strong Christian character of the school is demonstrated through excellent relationships and a clear focus on distinctive Christian values.
Collective worship and religious education (RE) support this distinctiveness through the values framework and are helping children to understand how these values affect their attitudes.
School leaders maintain a clear focus on the school’s key purpose of providing a nurturing environment based on Christian values within which children thrive, make good progress and achieve well.
