Class 2 did a spot of gardening, clearing the leaves and tidying the garden. They worked incredibly hard. Some children even cleared the paths of moss, tidied the raised beds and cleared the last of the summer plants.
Caring for the garden and enjoying the outdoor classroom.
Class Two enjoying Forest School. Here are some examples of our joining techniques; can you see where we have used a clove-hitch knot, a diagonal lash and a square lash?
Mrs Gillespie, owner of Farnley Fayre, generously gave up some of her time to help the children make fabulous sugar paste snowmen and Santas with all the children in school. They learnt how to roll, shape and mould sugar paste. The work they produced was to an incredibly high standard; every body was very impressed. Some great presents to send home for Christmas.
